Daniel was born on 12 April 1723 in Amesbury, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. He was the son of Samuel Hunt (1690-abt.1747) and Elizabeth (Clough) Hunt (1693-).[1]

Daniel married Mary Trussell in 1745 in New Hampshire.[2] Their recorded children:

  3. Hannah, b. 17 Jul 1749 * FS Birth

Daniel died at the age of 84 in 1807 in Ryegate, Caledonia County, Vermont. He is buried in the Old Scotch Cemetery in Ryegate, Caledonia County, Vermont.[4]
