Birth

No record has been found of the birth or parents of Mary Graves. A 1722 birth date is a reasonable estimate, given her marriage in 1741 and the birth of her last child in 1763. See the Research Note below.

Marriage

Mary Graves married Amos Flint at North Reading, Massachusetts, on 18 Nov 1741.^[1]

Death

No record has been found of the death of Mary (Graves) Flint. She was living when her last child was born on 22 May 1763^[2] but died before her husband's remarriage on 30 Jan 1765.^[3]

Research Note

The Graves Family Association website says that Mary Graves “was almost certainly descended" from Samuel¹ Graves of Lynn and "may have been the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth (Collins) Graves of Lynn and Reading MA."^[4] Samuel Graves and Elizabeth Collins were married at Lynn (published October 1716)^[5] but apparently did not record their children born there. That Mary (Graves) Flint was the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth (Collins) Graves is plausible but unproven. (Bloom-1124 22:32, 22 May 2019 (UTC))
