William Buckingham Sr was born in 1701 in Pennsylvania, the son of John and Hannah (Brunsden) Buckingham. He passed away in 1789 in New Castle County, Delaware.
William served during the American Revolution by providing Patriotic Service; he took an oath of allegiance on November 18, 1778 in Delaware. Delaware Archives Volume 2, pg 994, 1000. [1][2]
