Mrs. Mary Wood, of this village, died at the Alice Hyde Hospital, Malone, at 5 o'clock Tuesday morning.
The deceased had been a patient in the hospital for the past three weeks.
On November 11th she underwent a serious operation and failed to make recovery.
The deceased was born in Chateaugay 90 years ago. a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Dame) Tavernier.
On November 16, 1894, her marriage to Louis Wood took place. His death occurred on November 26, 1938.
The deceased was a loving wife and mother, a kind friend and neighbor and a devoted member of St. Patrick's Church. Her demise will be deeply mourned.
Surviving are two daughters and four sons: Mrs. Salina Ploof, Minevllle; Mrs. Mary Ezrow, Massena; John, Anthony, Joseph and William Wood, Chateaugay;.
two sisters and one brother also survive: Mrs. Alice Deloria, Chicopee Falls, Mass.; Mrs. Anna Amord, and William Tavernier, Malone;.
several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
