Joseph WOMACK, son of Richard WOMACK (c. 1708-1754) and Sarah HARRISON (c. 1710-1788), was born in 1747 in Thorpe Hesley, Yorkshire. He was baptised on 17 May 1747 at Wentworth Old Church (Holy Trinity).
Between 1799 and 1800 he rented land from the Wentworth Estate.
Joseph Womack and Jane OXLEY were married on 23 March 1802 at Holy Trinity. Jane was a widow and both were stated to be resident at Wentworth.
Joseph was buried on 9 March 1808 at Holy Trinity. The burial record says that he was a sawyer.
