Biography
Mary Lou Clayton was born on August 5, 1822, in York, New Brunswick, Canada, her father, Samuel, was 29, and her mother, Margaret, was 27. She married James McCormack on January 13, 1844, in New Brunswick, Canada. They had ten children in 22 years. She died on November 1, 1897, in Portage Lake, Maine, having lived a long life of 75 years, and was buried in Portage, Maine.
