Biography

Parents, Birth, Baptism

 Rosalia Vizoso, daughter of Pedro Antonio Vizoso and Marie “Victoria” Delatte, was born 31 December 1794 and baptized on 27 January 1795 at the St. Louis Church in New Orleans, Louisiana.[1]

Marriage, Children

 Rosalie married Louis Robert Bernard, son of Felix Gilles Bernard and Marie Victoire Bourg,[2] on 2 June 1810 at the St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans, Louisiana.[3] Their known children were:

  1. Louis Robert Bernard:
    • Born: 31 Aug 1812; Baptized: 20 Jun 1813[4]
    • Married: Marie Leonarda "Eleanore" Landry, daughter of Ursin Landry and Amaranthe Hebert, on 10 Feb 1834 at St. Joseph's Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.[5]
    • Died: 1 May 1869[6]
    • Buried: St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 in New Orleans, Louisiana[7]
  2. Felix Balthasar Bernard DuMontier:
    • Born: 22 Jul 1814; Baptized: 30 Aug 1815[8]

She has a duplicate profile--they are unmerged matches for now but would you be able to research her surname spelling? KTR has it as Bisoso. https://gw.geneanet.org/katheriot?lang=en&pz=della&nz=sevin&p=rosalie+pierre&n=bisoso. May need a name change before we merge the two profiles since it is possible neither is correct. Thanks! no hurry

Toups-373 Shae (Toups) Simpson
I'm certain its Visoso and not Bisoso based on her birth record and the surname of her siblings and father. Bisoso looks to be nothing more than a typo in the groom's entry of their marriage record. Also, there are no other Bisoso's that I've found in the area (or at all if memory serves me right).
