Biography
Benjamin was born in November 1835 in Rutherford County, Tennessee. He was the son of Benjamin Blanton. He married F.E. (Bray) Blanton in 1871 and had three children: Lula, Annie and Robert Lee. He was the Mayor of Wartrace, TN in 1873 and ran a successful merchant business here. He passed away in Wartrace, TN in 1901 and is buried in the Hollywood Cemetery. [1]
