John Snyder was married twice. His first wife was purported to be Malevia Yager, dau. of John W. and Margaret Wilhoit Yager. Death date unknown. Research shows that they had one daughter, Elizabeth, b. 1823, but this does not make sense, as he was having children by Judith from 1817 to 1834.
Second wife was Judith Graves. They had ten children, as far as the research I have found. William, b. 1817: Jane, b. 1819; Emanuel, b. 1821; John W., b. 1826; Mary Ann, b. 1827 (My GG Grandmother); James P., b. 1829; Frances Elizabeth, b. 1831; Lewis A., b. 1831; Clarissa Agnes, b. 1832; and Verinda Jane, b. 1834.
