Biography

Capt. Paul Snow was baptized on December 1, 1776 in Truro, Barnstable, Massachusetts. His baptism includes his father's name, i.e. Elisha Snow. Paul was the son of Elisha and Hannah (Rich) Snow. Paul is a descendant of Mayflower Passenger Stephen Hopkins.

Paul married Sarah "Salley" Ewing abt. 1804 likely in Harpswell, Cumberland, Maine.

Paul and members of his household are enumerated in Harpswell's 1810 Fed. Census with 6 members including 1 male age 26-44 (self); 2 males under 10; 2 females under 10; and 1 female 26-44 (wife Sarah).
