Biography
John was born about 1820, the son of Thomas Maunsell and Caroline Cockayne. He was christened at Rushton, Northamptonshire[1]. He passed away in 1902[2][3] and was buried at Thorpe Malsor on 21 January[4].
He married in 1858[5], Mary Isabella, Viscountess Hood, daughter of Richard John Tibbits and Horatio Charlotte Lockwood. He took the surname Tibbits, by Royal Licence, the same year.
