Rachel was born in 1838. She passed away in 1925.

She was the daughter of Asa Wayman and Mary Carr.

Married Alexander Faulkner, Mar 23, 1857, Washington Co, IL. They had 8 children. Alexander died 1908 in Ill. (age 72)

Rachel married 1912 John W. Pitchford; John died 1918 & she moved to Florida where she d 1925, but was brought back to IL to be buried.

From obit in 11 May 1925 Jacksonville Journal, and FL death record: The funeral service of Mrs Rachel C Pitchford was held Saturday at 3:30pm, Rev CA Honeholder, of the Ortega Methodist church officiating. The body accompanied by her son N A Faulkner (son of her first husband Alexander Faulkner) was forwarded Saturday night to her former home in Ashley, Illinois where services were to be concluded this afternoon at 2pm at the Richview Baptist church. Interment in the family cemetery. She passed away in 1925.
