He was born on 18 July 1896 in Kolomyia, Galicia, Austria and his parents were Marie (Krinwitz) and David Zeiger. ^[1]

In 1923 he immigrated to New York City, New York, USA. ^[2]

Aaron Edward Zeiger married on 15 Feb 1927 in Manhattan, New York, New York, USA to Jennie Gitlitz ^[3] (1900-1976). They were Orthodox Jews.

In 1928 he and his wife became American citizens. ^[1]

He was a restaurant owner and defense-plant worker.

He was found dead of a heart attack on 09 June 1943 near Kearny, Hudson County, New Jersey, USA ^{[4] [5]} and was buried at Montefiore Cemetery, Springfield Gardens, Queens County, New York, USA. ^[6]

George Elwood of the Kearny, New Jersey, Police Department yesterday tentatively identified a body found Wednesday night as that of Edward Zeiger, 47, of 2116 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, NY. Elwood said an ambulance intern from West Hudson Hospital, Kearny, pronounced the man dead of a heart attack. Tentative identification was made through a prescription written by a Brooklyn physician and found in the man's clothing. The body was found at the Lincoln Highway entrance to the Federal Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Co."
