Obituary:
Emma C. Lasher, 77 of Danbury, wife of the late Samuel Lasher died on Friday, April 20, 2012 at Laurel Ridge Health Care Center, Ridgefield. Mrs. Lasher was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, March 19, 1935 and attended local schools. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed doing puzzles, numerous arts and crafts and most especially dedicated her life to her family. A resident of Danbury for the past twenty-three years, she attended St. Peter Church. Mrs. Lasher is survived by four daughters, Lisa Plumer, Deborah Molinaro, Rose Marie Owen and Mary Sibbitt; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Private graveside funeral services and burial will take place in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Pleasant Valley, NY. There will be no calling hours. Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury is in charge of arrangements.
