John Zittrauer was a Georgia colonist.

John George Zittrauer was born about 1740.[1] He was the son of Paulus Zitterauer and Margaret (unknown).[2] John George married Catherine Brandwein on May 19, 1761.[2][3][4] They had the following children [5]:

  1. Timothy, born 7 December 1762.
  2. John Gottlieb, born 8 July 1766, who married Hannah.
  3. Mary Margaret, born 2 December 1768 and died on 13 August 1771.
  4. Mary Margaret, born on 6 may 1774.
  5. Hannah, who married John Christopher Miller.
  6. Solomon, born on 14 November 1777, died on 18 June 1860 married Elizabeth Oglesby first and second to Esta Gnann.

John George Zittrauer married second, Mrs. Anna (Seckinger) Maurer. They had no children.[5]
