Biography
Nicholas Depue was born in Monroe County, Pennsylvania Colony. He is the son of Nicholas Depuy and Elisabeth Schoonmaker. Nicholas married Margaret Elizabeth Bossard at Smithfield Township, Northampton County, Pennsyvania, in 1791. He is the father of thirteen children. He died in Northhampton County. Nicholas is interred at Middle Smithfield Presbyterian Burying Ground, Monroe County, PA.
