Biography

William Persse, the son of William Persse and Frances Browne, was born about 1785.

He did not marry.

William was a Lieutenant in the 45th Regiment of Foot on Oct 1, 1807 and took part in the attack on Buenos Aires in that year. He was killed in action at the Battle of Cuidad Rodrigo in 1812.[1]
