Carl Johan was born in 1785 in Ekeby parish.[1][2]
He left Åsbo in 1807[3] and moved to Vallerstad. He was at Götevid By Ågor Nedra Holme from May 1807 through 1808.[4] He married Maja Andersdotter on November 11, 1810[5]Daughter Johanna, born in 1811, died the following year. Son Anders was born in 1813.[6]
Carl Johan and his wife had another child in 1817, Carl Gustaf. They were living at Skattegårds Ågor. Since there's no indication they moved and the previous place name seems to be gone from the register, the name of the place may have been changed. Carl Gustaf died in July of 1817 at the age of four months. Carl Johan's last child, Anna Greta was born in August of 1819. Unfortunately Carl Johan didn't live to see her born as he died on May 13, 1819 from Bröstfeber (chest fever). He was 34 years old.[7]
Research Notes
Not finding him in the Åsbo birth records
