Jabez Keep was a Sergeant in Capt. Jonathan Davis's company of Minutemen, Col. John Whitcomb's regiment, which marched on the alarm of April 19, 1775, and then became a Lieutenant in Capt. James Burt's company, Col. Asa Whitcomb's regiment. In 1776 he was a Lieutenant in Josiah Whitney's regiment. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]

Jabez Keep was born on December 13, 1736 in Westford, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony. His parents were Jabez Keep and Sarah Leonard. [7] [8]

Jabez married Phebe Crosby in Westford, Massachusetts, Jul7 7, 1757. [7] [8]
