Noah Labossiere was born at Douglas, MA on March 26, 1878. ^{[1] [2]} He was the eighth child of 16 and the third of nine sons of Olivier Labossiere and Virginie Lebeau.

1880 US Census Massachusetts Worcester Douglas ED 807 Page 111 Lines 1-10: Olivier Labossiere, 33 house painter; Jane (Virginie Lebeau), 32; eight Labossiere children: Heneretta, 11; Nelson (Nazaire), 8; Estella, 7; Jane, 6; John, 5; Phebe, 4; Nowell, 2; Mary, 1.^[3] Census date: June 30, 1880.

1900 US census Rhode Island Providence County ED109 Central Falls Ward 2, sheet 7B, lines 82-92: Oliver Labossiere, 54 painter; Virginie Labossiere (Lebeau), 52; nine Labossiere children: Henriette, 30; Jean Baptiste, 24; Apoline, 22; Noah, 21; Alfred, 18; Charles, 15; Marie, 12; Philias, 10. ^[4] Census date: June 6, 1900.

Noah Labossiere married Virginia Ouimette at New Bedford, MA on November 14, 1904. ^{[5] [6]} She was a daughter of Joseph Ouimette and Marie Ducharme. Noah Labossiere and Virginia Ouimette had three sons, but the last died at birth.

1910 US Census Massachusetts Bristol new Bedford City Ward 1 ED 184 Sheet 39B Lines 88-92:Noe Labossiere, 31 weaver, cotton mill; Regina (Virginia Ouimette), 28 spooler, cotton mill; two Labossiere sons: Leo, 4; Ernest, 3; Doner Lapointe, 19 boarder. ^[7] Census date: May 11, 1910. Mother reported two children and both are alive. This is not correct as the birth and death records of a third son in 1909 have been found.

Noah Labossiere passed away at New Bedford, MA on April 5, 1918. ^[8] He was buried there on April 9, 1918 at Sacred Heart Cemetery. He was only 40 years old, not 39 as on his death certificate as it has his birth year wrong.
