Biography

Elmer E. Rhodes was born 20 Jun 1861 in Pennsylvania to parents John Hull Rhodes and Hannah Bitner.

In 1870, Elmer was aged 8 and living in Scott Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania with his parents and siblings.^[1]

By 1880, Elmer, aged 19, moved in with his brother James M Rhodes (aged 28), James's wife Emma (22), their child John H (1), and their father John H (67). Elmer was a laborer in Scott Township.^[2]

Elmer passed away on 15 Mar 1919 in Warren, Warren County, Pennsylvania, and was buried in Section 4, Lot SH 49 in Greenwood Cemetery in New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. ^[3]
