Jacob R. Galusha was born on 5 June 1834 in Hornellsville, Steuben County, New York to Jacob Galusha and Betsey (Manchester) Galusha.[1][2]

In 1900 he was living with his wife, Lucy (50), in Eldred, McKean County, Pennsylvania.[7]
He died on 28 February, 1927 in Barden Brook, McKean County, Pennsylvania, and was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Eldred, McKean County, Pennsylvania.[1][8]
