Biography
Darius was born in 1849. He was the son of Phillip Neas and Elizabeth Bowers. He passed away in 1917.
Darius was the eighth of nine children born to Philip Neas and Elizabeth Bowers. Darius graduated from Mosheim College and received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University and from the University of Nashville in 1878. Before receiving his medical degree, he taught at Parrottsville and Caney Branch and read medicine at that time. He practiced at Parrottsville, Tennessee. Darius married Ida M. Bell, daughter of B.F. Bell on 7 Apr 1881 in Cocke county Tennessee. Darius and Ida had four children: Vernie E., Ulius Roy, Brent and Ida.
