Biography

Stanley was born on 25 Jul 1920^[1] in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. He was the son of Frank Lewis and Edith Mattson.

In the 1930 census Stanley (age 9) was the son of Frank A Lewis in Haddonfield, Camden, New Jersey, United States.^[2]

Stanley's parents appear to have divorced in the 1930s. He remained with his mother.

In the 1940 census Stanley (age 19) was the single grandson of Elwood Mattson in Evanston, Cook, Illinois, United States.^[3]

Stanley (age 28), son of Frank Archibald Lewis & Edith W Mattson, married Doniphan Gilkeson (age 25) on 28 Aug 1948 in Augusta, Virginia, United States.^[4] They would have at least one child together.

In the 1950 census Stanley (age 29), History & ???, was the married head of household, living with his new wife and mother in Chattanooga, Hamilton, Tennessee, United States.^[5]

Stanley died (age 85) on 6 Jun 2005 residing in Chattanooga, Hamilton, Tennessee.^[1]
