Dorothy Lavinia Brown, also known as "Dr. D.", was an American surgeon, legislator, and teacher.^[1]

Dorothy Brown was born in 1914.

She passed away in 2004^[2] and is buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee.^[3]
