Boyer shows Prawst ferch Elise ab Anarawd ap Rhodri Mawr born, say, 930. [1]
Prawst was born about 930. She was "of, Gwynedd gwlad, Wales."
Darrell Wolcott notes that Llywelyn's mother is cited as Prawst ferch Elisedd ap Anarawd of Gwynedd [8], but we believe she was a more age-appropriate lady: Prawst ferch Elisedd ap Idwal Foel. Elisedd ap Anarawd was slain in 942 [9] and we place the birth of Prawst after 960. Her eldest son, Llewelyn, was born c. 979. Wolcott adds that when Maredudd ap Owain of Deheubarth died in 999, we believe his widow, together with a young daughter, fled to Powys where she was received by her sister, Lady Prawst. [2]
Boyer indicates her husband's name simply as Seisyll, without further indication of his family. [1]
Other sources state that she married Seisyll ab Ednywain.
They had at least two children: [1]
