AU1368.1 Brian Mor Mac Mathgamna, arch-king of Oirgialla, the hand that most slew of the Foreigners and of the Gaidhil of Ireland in his own time was that man and he went against the Foreigners and a gallowglass of his own people fell upon him treacherously in a solitary place and he was slain by him and the assassin himself escaped thereafter.
