This Jonathan Bird was not the son of Jonathan Bird (1699-) and Hannah (Thomson) Bird (1708-1776) as previously linked here. They were from Farmington, CT, and lived their whole lives in that area. Sister Lydia was also born in Farmington in 1744 and lived her whole life in the area. There are numerous records for a Jonathan Bird, 1747-1813, confirming him the son of Jonathan Bird and Hannah (Thomson) Bird, not the Jonathan of this profile. Foremost of these are the probate records of Jonathan Bird (1699-) and the will of that Jonathan, signed in 1807 after the death of the Jonathan of this profile, names his sister Lydia and her children. A new profile for that person is being created.
Bird-9858 and Bird-1745 appear to represent the same person because: Same spouse, year of marriage and daughter patience. There is a huge gap in year of birth. More sources are needed for birth and death.
