Biography
Edith was born in 1885. She was the daughter of John Megerth and Mary Keeler.
Records show a middle initial T - did it stand for anything? Or just the peculiar 19th century custom of using an initial, often meaningless? She had two siblings who apparently had middle names. But there is no indication that her initial meant anything at all.
She was shown in 1910, 1920, 1930 U.S. censuses at Cleveland. The 1940 U.S. census showed her address was on East 13th Street, Cleveland and she was a public school teacher. She seems never to have married.
She died in 1947 - age just 62 - and was buried at Cleveland. [1]
