First Lieutenant Johann Pheir (Peter) Conrad Schneider, served in the Revolutionary War, from Hamilton Township, Northampton County (now Monroe County), Pennsylvania, 6th Battalion, 5th Company, under Capt. Henry Sewitz, Col. Stroud's Pennsylvania Regiment. Peter was commissioned, May 1, 1777, and taken Prisoner at Frankfort, Somerset, New Jersey, January 10, 1778.[1]
Johann married Veronica Sophronica Heller.

Johann passed away on the 22 Nov 1789 in Hamilton Square, Monroe, Pennsylvania.[1]
