1st Lieutenant Johann Conrad was a prisoner of war during the American Revolution.

First Lieutenant Johann Pheir (Peter) Conrad Schneider, served in the Revolutionary War, from Hamilton Township, Northampton County (now Monroe County), Pennsylvania, 6th Battalion, 5th Company, under Capt. Henry Sewitz, Col. Stroud's Pennsylvania Regiment. Peter was commissioned, May 1, 1777, and taken Prisoner at Frankfort, Somerset, New Jersey, January 10, 1778.^[1]

Johann married Veronica Sophronica Heller.
