What is your Elrod Line and do you know how we connect? My line is - Giles Elrod (b. 1780 - 1785 & d. between 1837 - 1840) & Elizabeth Thomas (b. 1800 - d. after 1870) (3rd great-grandparents)

Their son, John "Jack" Elrod (b. 27 May 1826, White County, TN & d. 27 May 1914, Dekalb County, TN) & Mary "Polly" Martin (b. abt. 1828 Tennessee & d. 08 May 1878, Dekalb County, TN) (2nd great-grandparents). They had 10 children - 8 sons & 2 daughters. (Rilley Asbury Elrod married Nancy Lafever, my great-grandparents).
