Ezekiel F. Ross, son of George Washington Ross and Martha (Steelman) Ross, was born on a farm in Heath Creek Township, Pettis County, Missouri, February 12, 1877, and attended the country district school. On September 19, 1900, he married Mollie Jane Wadley, at Clifton City, Missouri^[2], who was born January 31, 1882 in Callaway County, Missouri. Her family later moved to Aurora Springs, Miller County, Missouri in 1883, and at the age of 18 she moved to Clifton City, Cooper County, Missouri and made her home with her sister and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lamson until her marriage.

To their marriage were born nine children:

1. Bessie Fay Ross, b. 7-21-1901; m. 2-24-1925, Roy Sylvester Shull^[3], and they reside at 907 East North St., Portland, Indiana.
2. Oliver Raines Ross, b. 1-25-1903; d. 12-12-1918.
3. Ezekial Edgar Ross, b. 4-16-1907; m. Nadine Wear, 11-29-1935, at Pleasant Green, Missouri^[4].
4. Mollie Edith Ross, b. 4-16-1907; m. 8- 28-1943, Earl Henry Lash, and resides at 505 N. Independence St., Harrisonville , Missouri.
5. George William Ross, b. 5-25-1908; m. 1-15-1936, Myrtle E. Steele^[5], and resides on York. St., Sedalia, Missouri.
6. Ruby Grace Ross, b. 4-14-1916; m. 9- 25-1937, Brancie Hummer, and resides on a farm near Portland, Indiana.
7. Opal Mae Ross, b. 4-29-1928; m. 5-12-1940, Homer Ames.
8. Mary Marie Ross, b. 10-5-1921; m. 1st. Frank McDonald; divorced; m. 2nd. John Hopkins.
9. John Aaron Ross, b. 9-6-1914; m. 1-15-1936, Pearl Hall , and resides somewhere in Kansas.^[6]

Mollie (Wadley) Ross died in Pettis County, Missouri, September 4, 1940, and is buried in the Erwin Cemetery in Pettis County, Missouri.^[7]

Ezekiel F. Ross married 2nd. Mamie Necessary who survived him. He died in Pettis County, Missouri, November 13, 1958, and Is buried in Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia, Missouri.^[8]
