Earl Braughn Hicks was my Great Uncle. My Grandmother "Maude Oleva (Hicks) Epley" was his sister & my Great Aunt Gertie (Gertrude Hicks, Danker) were very close to me while I was growing up. I know for certain, that his birth mother was Bertha Oleva (Jones) Hicks. His father George Hicks may have had another wife (without divorcing his first wife). George lived a rather "loose" life, or so I was told....
