I see Tom's point. And to facilitate matters, I moved most of those bulleted sources into their respective <ref> statements. For instance the Census References now all say US Federal Census etc. The S3 was not quite the same, and I did put the footnotes after it.
Guidelines are guidelines, not written in stone rules, and sometimes things make more sense put one way than the other.
Anne and James, I put <ref>below the 1-20 sources to accommodate James' using them as a summary that needs to be referred to to make each ref accurate. Had I done it from scratch I would not have listed these 7 at all but used each in it's relevant citation (1-20). thanks for looking.
I do like to include the list of children in a bio, especially when the list has sourcing as this one does. This gives a reference point - to check the list in the data section, - to see if all the children are listed - or if there are too many children, - or in case someone has attached children that do not belong.
Actually, Strictly speaking you both had the sources section wrong. <references/> comes directly after the Sources Label and before the *bulletted sources list. I moved the Notes above the sources so they don't get lost in no mans land. However, I think I would include those notes directly after the subject in question. For instance the note on Glenway could be incorporated into the burial text, or done as a proper footnote within <ref> and </ref>
Also Clark's parents and siblings (Natal Family) don't need to be included in Clark's bio. They get imported with some Gedcom's and I usually remove them, especially if a profile is long. This profile isn't that long so it's ok to leave it if you want to.
