Biography

Lt George Jolliffe RN, was born in 1779 in Petersfield, Hampshire, England, the son of William Jolliffe and Eleanor (Hylton) Jolliffe.

He died August 1, 1798 in HMS Bellerophon, Battle of the Nile, Egypt at the age of 20.
