Biography

This profile is part of the Clark Name Study.

Emily Clark was born around 1827 to John Clark and Stacy Glasscock in Coshocton County, Ohio.[1][2][3]

Emily and Amos Casteel acquired a marriage license on 21 September 1841 and were married on 23 September 1841 in Coshocton County, Ohio. The marriage was filed as Record No. 1452, on 19 October 1841 by F. W. Thomhill.[4][5][6][7] Emily and Amos moved to Ohio Township, Indiana. They had three known children, all born in Indiana. Amos died sometime before 1857.[1][2]

Emily remarried to Hiram Jocelyn on 5 May 1857. Emily and Hiram lived in Luce Township, Indiana.[2][8] They later moved to Russellville, Kentucky with their son Ambrose Everett and their daughter Melissa V.[3]

Emily passed away around 1888.
