"Son of Mephiboseth Adams and Jane (Unknown), served in the Massachusetts Troops, American Revolutionary War and was awarded a pension for service commencing March 4, 1831.

Amos married twice: 1) Sarah Kemp (no extant marriage records have been found. Sarah and Amos received the American Revolutionary bounty land of Sarah's brother, William Kemp.) -Likely missing from above are multiple other daughters born before Abel, Patience, and Joseph --Sarah born Apr 20, 1770 --Molly born Feb 26, 1775 --Alise (spelling?) born Aug 29, 1777 --Eloise (spelling?) unclear date 1780

2) Widow Sarah Hacket in 1831 (Ladies' Miscellany, v. 1-2, published 1831)."
