Funeral services and burial for Mrs Magulia L Adkins Hamby, wife of Frank L Hamby, were held at New Home cemetery Sunday, Jan 14 at 2 p.m. with Connor Lundy officiating. Mrs Hamby died at the family home in the Hebbertsburg community on Saturday, January 13 after several weeks illness. She was born April 16, 1868 near Pine Orchard in Morgan County. She was married Dec 8, 1895 and they had 3 children; a daughter who preceded her in death several years ago and 2 sons, Andrew of Hebbertsburg and Ira of Rockwood. Surviving also are 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. Mrs Hamby was a member of the Pine Orchard Baptist Church since childhood.
