Johannes Everardus Akkerhuijs is geboren in Zuid-Holland in 1793

Johannes Everardus Akkerhuijs was born on 7 September 1793 in Hillegom, Holland, and baptised the following day. He was the son of Gerrit Akkerhuis and Elisabeth Houwaard.[1]

Johannes (age 24), son of Gerrit Akkerhuijs and Elisabeth Houwaard, married Magdalena Hulpusch (age 18), daughter of Petrus Henricus Hulpusch and Wilhelmina van der Kaaij, on 4 February 1818 in Voorburg, Holland.[2]

Johannes was a Gardener by profession (tuinman).

  2. Leendert Johannes Akkerhuijs, b.1821 (Voorburg)
  3. Wilhelmina Elisabeth Akkerhuis, b.1824 (Voorburg) died in infancy
  4. Willem Akkerhuijs, b.1825 (Voorburg)
  5. Elisabeth Magdalena Akkerhuijs, b.1828 (Voorburg)
  6. Wilhelmina Catharina Akkerhuijs, b.1830 (Voorburg)
  7. Hermanus Akkerhuis, b.1833 (Voorburg)
  8. Leendert Akkerhuijs, b.1837 (Voorburg)
  9. stillborn child, b.1840 (Voorburg)

Johannes died (age 63) in 1856 in Voorburg, Zuid-Holland.[3] The death was registered by his son Willem Akkerhuijs (32, carpenter timmerman by profession) and Willem Thierry (27, carpenter timmerman by profession).
