Emilla (aka Molly/Milly) was born in 1823. She was the daughter of John Allen and Elizabeth Brenton. By 1850, the family had moved to Indiana.[1]
By 1860, a Milly (aka Molly or Emilla) was living with her widowed father and two siblings, Simeon and Margaret, in Boone County, Indiana. Her father and Simeon were farming.[2]
By 1880, Milly was living with her widowed brothers, William and Simeon, and sister, Mary, in Center, Boone, Indiana.[3]
Milly apparently never married.
She passed away in 1888. Burial was in the Beck Cemetery, Lebanon, Boone County, Indiana.[4]
Note
Some census records were transcribed as "Molly", however, her nickname was apparently "Milly."
