Frederick Allmandinger was born 12 Sept 1869 in Butler County, Ohio. He was the son of John Allmandinger and Rosina Schneider. ^[1]

In the 1870 US Census, the family was living in Wayne, Butler County, Ohio: Parents Lewis and Rosina with children: Louis, Michael, John, Jacob, William and Frederick. ^[2]

The family was living in Black Creek, Mercer County, Ohio in the 1880 US Census. The family included the following: Parents Lewis and Rosina with children: Louis, Michael, John, Jacob, William, Frederick, Mary and Lena.^[3]

When Frederick was 14 years old, his brother Michael died. His father died in 1888 when Frederick was 18 years old. On 8 January 1895, Frederick married Anna Katherina Kallenberger, daughter of Andreas Michael Kallenberger and Elisabeth Burkhart, in Mercer County, Ohio. Frederick was 25. ^[4]

Frederick and Anna had a son, George Frederick Allmandinger, born 10 Nov 1895, and a daughter, Paulena Katherine Allmandinger, born 11 Aug 1898. In the 1900 US Census, Frederick and Anna were living in Black Creek, Mercer, Ohio with their two children. (Anna is listed as, "Katie Alma" in the Census). Frederick was a farmer. ^[5]

Frederick and Anna had another three children: Rudolph "Rudy" Benjamin Allmandinger, born 13 Jan 1903; Karl Michael Allmandinger, born 4 May 1905; and Elizabeth Martha Allmandinger, born 18 July 1907. In the 1910 US Census, the family was living in Black Creek, Mercer, Ohio. The family included: Frederick and Anna with children: George, Paulina, Rudolph, Karl and Elizabeth. ^[6]

Frederick and Anna had their last child, Matilda Rebecca Allmandinger, on 30 July 1910. In the 1920 US Census, Frederick and Anna were living in Liberty, Van Wert, Ohio with children: George, Pauline, Rudolph, Karl, Elisabeth and Matilda.^[7]

The family was again living in Liberty, Van Wert, Ohio in the 1930 and 1940 US Census. In the 1930 US Census, the family consisted of Fred and "Katherine" (Anna) with children George and Matilda.^[8]In the 1940 US Census, the family consisted of Fred, Katherine and son George.^[9]

On 2 Oct 1944, Frederick's wife Anna died. Frederick died 6 Dec 1953 at age 84 from Pancreatic Cancer.^[1]He was buried in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Schumm, Van Wert, Ohio.^[10]
