Biography

Eliza was born Elizabeth Anderson in about 1858 in Canada.^[1] She married Marcus M.T. Rough in Montreal, Canada on 2 Nov 1876.^[2] They set up housekeeping in Manhattan, NY, where they lived together for 31 years,^[3] when Marcus died, leaving her a widow. They had seven children. She passed away on 26 Oct 1938 in Kings County, New York^[4] and was buried in Green-Wook Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY, on 29 Oct 1938.^[5]
