Biography
John Anderson is a part of US Black heritage.
John Berkley Anderson was born in December 1872 in King and Queen County, Virginia, the son of BenJamin Anderson and Mary Isabella Holmes. He died on January 31, 1910 at the age of 37 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania and is buried in Eden Cemetery, Collingdale, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. He married Anna D Rucker. Both are the parents of the famous opera singer Marian Anderson.
