Boyer shows Gwriad in a line of descent going back to Coel Hen ("King Cole"). [2] Wolcott's different birth estimates are appended in parentheses. [3]Stewart Baldwin, however, states that the genealogy which purports to make Gwriad a direct male-line descendant of Llywarch Hen is almost certainly a late fabrication.[4]
