During the 1901 census he was recorded with his father, stepmother Catherine and three siblings at their home in Houghton le Spring, Durham, England, United Kingdom. [3]
In 1904 he immigrated to Canada with his family. [4] They settled in Humbolt, Saskatchewan. [5]
He married Agnes Hansen in 1922 and they were living in Calgary, Alberta during the 1926 census. [6]
He died on December 19, 1981 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (source needed)
