Biography

Mary Armstrong may be the Mary baptized on 18 Jan 1764 to Robert and Elizabeth Armstrong of Drumso, Clones,County Monagham, Ireland. There is a second Mary Armstrong, baptized in Clones, on March 30 1794 , d/o James and Mary Armstrong of Grensha, Clones, County Monaghan, Ireland but it would seem unlikely she'd marry in 1803. Griffith Morrison and Mary Armstrong married Clones, County Monghan 18 Apr 1803. The Reigister of Clones, County Monaghan, Ireland is extensive but poorly transcribed and not indexed.

Hence why I stated she had to be born before the date given. There are two Mary Armstrong, in the same area. One would be impossible if she married about 1803. I have been unable to find a marriage date for either.

It appears she had her first child with 10 years of age - unusual?
