Biography

US Black Heritage Project
Luberta Arnold is a part of US Black heritage.

Luberta was born in 1907 to George and Lugena Arnold. She was a member of the Peoples Temple in Los Angeles, California. She moved to Jonestown, Guyana in August 1977. She died in Jonestown, Guyana on 18 November 1978 when Jim Jones ordered the "revolutionary suicide" of Peoples Temple members. Her Find A Grave Profile is for the Jonestown memorial at Evergreen Cemetery in Oakland, California.[1] She was buried at Paradise Memorial Park in Santa Fe Springs, California.[2]
