Biography

Ida was born in 1869. She was the daughter of Orren Arnold and Mary Vickery. Ida met and married John Robinson, in Ontario, then came west to Namao, Alberta, in 1891 (along with her older sister Kitty. They had six children: John - 1890; Lillian Mary - 1894; Letitia - 1896; Frank - 1897; Lottie May - 1902; and, Gladys Irene - 1908. Ida and John homesteaded on the farm now occupied by Lyman Schultz (as of 1991). They moved on to Edmonton after the sale of the property. Ida passed away in 1965 at the age of 95.
