"Elisabeth of Hungary (c.1149 - c.1189) is a duchess consort of Bohemia. She is the daughter of King Géza II of Hungary and Euphrosine of Kiev.
She defended Prague in 1179 successfully against her brother-in-law Sobeslav II as regent in the absence of her husband. She herself appears on the battlefield with religious symbols on her banner. For the second time in 1184, successfully defends Prague against her brother-in-law Sobeslav II as regent in the absence of her husband. She still defends Prague in 1189 against Conrad II of Bohemia but is forced to surrender and cede the city."[3]
