Obituary:^{[citation needed]} Religious services were held Tuesday at the Christian Fellowship Church in Larose for Earline Marie Cook, age 71,a native of Galiano and resident of Larose, who died at 7p.m. Wednesday, Aug 9. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Church Cemetery. She was the mother of Mary Benson, Laura Kraemer, Lela Cheramie, and sister of Johnny Autin, Jan Anselmi, Mavis Anselmi, and Lou Ann Dupre. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Irwin Cook; parents Erwin(sic Ernest may be correct) and Rosina Autin and daughter Laura Lee Cook. Falgout funeral home of Raceland was in charge of the arrangements.

Her biological father was not listed on her birth certificate. She was raised by a different man who adopted her.
